From providing interpretive opportunities for guests to handling animals for school groups and many other enjoyable activities, docents help to further the Zoo’s educational mission.
Adult volunteers are needed to assist in many aspects of the Little Rock Zoo, including but not limited to special events such as Hiland Dairy Dollar Day, Wild Wines, Zoo Brew, fall festivals, animal birthday parties, awareness days, biofact tables, information stations, exhibit interpretation stations and Zoofari Camps sponsored by McLarty Automotive Group.
With 33 developed acres, the Little Rock Zoo is looking for volunteers interested in helping to keep our grounds beautiful.
Get involved with exciting events at the Little Rock Zoo by volunteering with the special events team. Help out with community days, special events like Wild Wines and Zoo Brew, seasonal festivals, and more. Your support makes a difference! Current Opportunities include assisting with Zoo Brew 2024!
This exciting program is for kids 13-17yrs of age that are interested in making a difference with the Zoo’s conservation efforts.
